AEGEE-Enschede is de grootste studentenvereniging voor alle studenten van Enschede. Naast dit sterke lokale karakter zijn met meer dan 180 zusterverenigingen de mogelijkheden bij AEGEE grenzenloos. Arabesque is a lively contemporary dance association at the University of Twente. Dance classes take place on Tuesday evenings in the sports centre on campus and are given by a professional teacher. Dancers from all backgrounds and experience are welcome! The association gives opportunities for developing creativity, physical awareness and performance skills through technique and creative classes. Throughout the year fun activities are organized, like workshops, dinners and watching dance shows together. Before summer we close off the academic year with our own amazing performance. C.T.S.G. Alembic is the study association of the bachelor and master students of Chemical Science and Engineering (CSE) of the University of Twente. Chemotechnisch Studentengenootschap Alembic aims to support its 420 members of the above-mentioned study program in both education and personal development in the broadest sense of the word. Alembic organizes a wide range of activities, including educational workshops, guest lectures, and networking events with industry professionals. In addition to our academic focus, we prioritize social interaction and fun. From themed drinks and excursions to cozy activities, there’s always something happening within our association. Opgericht zijnde in 1964 is de D.A.V. KRONOS de oudste en de meest actieve studentenatletiekvereniging van Nederland. Kronos is de atletiekvereniging waar atletiekbeoefening op elk niveau wordt gecombineerd met vooral heel veel gezelligheid! Met een prachtige trainingsfaciliteit en trainingen voor middenlange- en langeafstandslopers, sprinters en meerkampers op zowel maandag, dinsdag, woensdag als donderdag, is er in ieder geval genoeg afwisseling te vinden. Naast al deze trainingen wordt er ook nog genoeg georganiseerd variërend tussen etentjes, borrels, een verenigingsweekend, de Beermile, de start2run, de Campusloop en de baanwedstrijd (de Johan Knaap Games). Ben je enthousiast kom dan vooral een keer langs, je kan altijd vrijblijvend een keer komen trainen!

D.S.S.V. Tartaros, opgericht op 21 oktober 2009, is een vrij jonge studenten survivalrun vereniging. Bij Tartaros streven wij ernaar om iedere student toegang te geven tot deze geweldige sport op elk niveau, van recreanten en beginners tot wedstrijdlopers en gevorderden, bij Tartaros kan iedereen terecht! Naast lekker trainen is er ook ruim de tijd voor gezelligheid, een lekkere BBQ, kampvuuravonden, andere activiteiten en natuurlijk het geweldige Tartaros weekend! Lijkt dit je wat? I.C.T.S.V. Inter-Actief is the study association for the studies Technical Computer Science, Business Information Technology and the corresponding masters at the University of Twente. Inter-Actief was founded on the 12th of March 1981 and has approximately 1400 members, making her the largest ICT-study association in the Netherlands.

Inter-Actief facilitates several services to make student life more pleasant. You can always come to Inter-Actief for study-related complaints and other problems, where Inter-Actief will try to support you as much as possible. We also keep you informed of what is happening in our studies themselves. Next to all study-related aspects, Inter-Actief also facilitates a lot of fun. We have weekly drinks on Tuesday afternoon and occasionally throw a party. Besides that, we host all kinds of activities such as laser gaming, symposia, workshops, barbecues, LAN parties and much more. 

Study Association Proto is a study association that focuses on students of the bachelor Creative Technology and the master Interaction Technology. The association is part of the EEMCS faculty of the university. The focus of both studies are a combination of computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, design studies and business and marketing elements. Students learn how to make well thought out products from start to finish in a creative and innovative way all while using existing and new technologies.

S.D.V. Chassé is the jazz dance association of the University of Twente of approximately 60 members who dance every Wednesday night on the campus. Classes are given at four different levels by a professional dance teacher. The classes consist of technique exercises, cardio, and rehearsing choreographies for performances and competitions. Every year, we organise a big final show to perform our choreographies all dressed up. We also organise fun activities, drinks, and workshops. Are you excited to join? S.G. Daedalus is de studievereniging gericht op Industrial Design (Engineering) studenten op de Universiteit Twente. Als studievereniging vertegenwoordigen wij namens en samen met de studenten de verbindende factor tussen onderwijs(verbetering), het bedrijfsleven en natuurlijk het studentenleven. We organiseren vele activiteiten voor onze leden en in onze verenigingskamer, de StudIO, kun je altijd terecht; of dat nu is voor een serieuze vraag of om gezellig een kop koffie of thee te drinken. Kom vooral een keer langs om kennis te maken!

S.v. Hysteria is de studievereniging voor alle hbo verpleegkunde-, gezondheid- en technologiestudenten in Enschede en Deventer. Met ongeveer 400 leden is Hysteria een levendige vereniging. Hysteria organiseert zowel studiegerelateerde als niet-studiegerelateerde activiteiten. Deze lopen uiteen van een bezoek aan Body World tot aan gezellige borrels.

Study Association S.V.A.T. Astatine is the study association for Advanced Technology students on the University of Twente. Advanced Technology is a broad study, which combines the aspects of science and engineering. The association organizes various activities for its members, together with support in education and a warm place to socialize on the 7th floor of the Horst tower. Stop by and see what we're all about!

Space Society Twente is a student association with an ambition to reach for the stars. We aim to achieve this by means of various projects, such as the development of our satellite, UT-Cubed, our rocket, RockUT and hosting NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge. The two core philosophies of the Space Society Twente are that anyone can be involved in the opportunities and challenges of space engineering, and that space itself needs to become more accessible to research and industry. As such, members of our association often organize excursions to space-related companies, guest lectures, movie nights and other social activities.

S.K.V. Vakgericht is dé studenten korfbalvereniging van Enschede, waarbij niet alleen sportiviteit maar ook gezelligheid erg belangrijk is. Vakgericht heeft één korfbalteam dat speelt op zaterdag. Daarnaast is er een midweek-team, dat een sterk wisselende samenstelling heeft. De vereniging onderneemt behalve sportieve ook op gezelligheid gerichte activiteiten, zoals het verenigingsweekend en de maandelijkse borrel. Kortom: ben je student en wil je korfballen in Enschede? Sirius is een studievereniging voor de studies Bestuurskunde, Gezondheidswetenschappen, European Studies en European Public Administration aan de Universiteit Twente. Sirius is opgebouwd uit drie pijlers, dit zijn Onderwijs, Verdieping en Gezelligheid. Onderwijs betekent dat Sirius boekenverkopen houdt voor haar leden, leden hebben de mogelijkheid om studieboeken met korting aan te schaffen via Sirius. Bij Verdieping kun je denken aan activiteiten zoals een debat, workshops, excursies en ons verenigingsblad de Sirius Sights. En last but not least: Gezelligheid! Als student hoor je een hoop lol en gezelligheid te hebben, Sirius organiseert verschillende gezelligheidsactiviteiten. Concluderend, Sirius heeft veel te bieden aan iedereen die een leuke, gave en leerzame tijd als student in Enschede wil hebben!

Studievereniging Stress is de studievereniging voor Technische Bedrijfskunde, International Business Administration en Bedrijfsinformatietechnologie, aan de Universiteit Twente. De leden van Stress organiseren vele activiteiten, zoals grote feesten in de stad, studiereizen naar verre landen, lezingen en diners van bedrijven, en nog veel meer. Naast deze activiteiten is Stress ook hét aanspreekpunt voor alles omtrent onderwijs, waaronder boeken en klachten. Onze kamer bevindt zich in de Ravelijn, wij schenken hier gratis koffie en thee aan onze leden. Kom een keertje langs, zodat wij ook jou leren kennen!

Study Association Communiqué is the study association for Communication Science and Communication Studies students. Communiqué has around 300 members, of whom 200 are still studying in Enschede. We organize educational, workfield-oriented and social activities for our members, such as a monthly drink, awesome parties and interesting company visits and workshops. This way students can get to know each other, improve their educational programme and get a better image of what their future as a communication professional might be like. This makes Communiqué an ideal diving board to jump from to develop yourself alongside your studies.

SV Dimensie is the study association for Psychology at the University of Twente. With 700 members, we organise activities such as lunch lectures, but also excursions and parties. With one of the biggest association rooms on campus, ours - The Rubix - is located in the Cubicus, where students can chill or study. Don't hesitate to come by some time for a nice chat or some coffee! 

Op de groene hand!

Voor de laboratoriumgerelateerde studies van Saxion te Enschede is er de studievereniging Oxytoc. Hieronder vallen de opleidingen Biologie en Medisch Laboratoriumonderzoek (ook de studieroute Infection and Contamination Control) en Chemie, beide van de academie Life Science, Engineering and Design. Oxytoc is op 23 september 2013 opgericht, afgelopen collegejaar dus! Dit jaar zijn er 4 enthousiaste studenten die de studievereniging op zich hebben genomen en hierbij het 2e bestuur van S.V.Oxytoc vormen. Wij organiseren studiegerelateerde activiteiten, zoals bedrijfsbezoeken, gastcolleges en het bezoek aan de snijzaal. Daarnaast organiseren wij natuurlijk ook niet-studiegerelateerde activiteiten, onder andere de introductie voor onze nieuwe studenten, themaborrels/-feesten en een avondje lasergamen. Oxytoc tilt het studeren op een leuke wijze naar een hoger niveau!

Tabula Rasa is dé studentenvereniging voor studenten Fysiotherapie & Podotherapie aan het Saxion te Enschede. De vereniging is opgericht op 1 oktober 1969 door onder andere Bert Simens (Oud-Docent opleiding fysiotherapie). Tabula Rasa betekent ‘onbeschreven blad’. Het studentenleven is een nieuwe periode in je leven, die je begint als onbeschreven blad. Tabula Rasa geeft jou als student de kans om dit nieuwe leven een extra dimensie te geven. Binnen Tabula Rasa kun je veel nieuwe ervaringen opdoen. Er worden door het jaar heen allerlei verschillende (studiegerelateerde) activiteiten georganiseerd.

Musilon is the Vocal Group of the University of Twente. Since 1987 we sing with a lot of enthusiasm (jazz, rock, and pop) both acapella and accompanied. Since then Musilon has grown to about 55 members. We rehearse every Monday evening and after this, a lot of people stay around to chat and sing some more songs. Every year we have at least 2 concerts where we perform our repertoire. One concert around Christmas and one at the end of the academic year. W.S.G. Isaac Newton is the study association for the Bachelor Mechanical Engineering (ME), and the masters Mechanical Engineering (ME), Sustainable Energy Technology (SET), and Robotics. Newton has around 2000 members of whom around 160 are active members that participate in committees.  Newton focuses on three important pillars; providing career orientation for our members, supporting them with education matters, and promoting social cohesion. Newton is run by full-time board members, who spend a year managing the association on a voluntary basis.

The WOT is a student organization at the University of Twente with a passion for technology and development. We test and design extremely affordable technologies for use in developing countries. We aim to share our knowledge to improve the life standards for people around the globe. A water pump for €20 and €10 for an irrigation system? We develop it. Come and take a look on our terrain or join a welding course!
